The 1970s were this city's biggest building decade. Census figures show 7,886 Pinellas Park homes built between 1970 and 1979. Another 3,549 date to the 1960s, and 2,286 go back to the 1950s. Concrete block walls, slab floors and original trim run through most of that stock.
